Malissa & Dean

Malissa and Dean were married a week ago at the Immaculate Conception church in Clintonville, Ohio. They were first referred to us by Alice and Rory, who were married a year ago this Sunday, but little did they know we had another connection! Long story short, we realized that we had photographed Dean's sister's wedding 6 years ago and it was our first ever "real" wedding Brian and I shot together. Small world (actually, this can more likely be explained by the fact that Dean has 10 siblings so I guess it was bound to happen eventually....).

Lindsey & Deric are having a baby!

I was so very excited when Lindsey got in touch with me a few months ago and told me that she and Deric were expecting! We shot their wedding four years ago (I couldn't believe so much time had passed!) and although we've been photographing lots of babies of our wedding couples lately, this was to be my first maternity shoot of a former bride and groom of ours.

I can't wait to meet little baby "C" (her name is a secret!)--hang in there Lindsey, only 8 more weeks to go!

The Farleys

We met the Farleys out at French Hen Farm in Marysville a couple of Sundays ago to get some pictures of the girls picking their pumpkins. Two-year-old Fiona got her hands on everything from caterpillars, to baby chicks and a tractor!

Jasper

Brian recently photographed Jasper at our studio--with Raffi tunes playing in the background, he danced around and made it easy for Brian to capture all that energy!

Ellie & Her Kitchen and A Trip to the Zoo

My friend and superstar wedding coordinator, Emilie Duncan, and I like to get together for lunch every month or two. Our lunch dates tend to involve more chatting than lunching, but I always look forward to exchanging weddings stories and listening to her mommy wisdom. The last time I photographed Emilie's daughter, Ellie, it was her 1st birthday party, so I was really excited when Emilie and I set a date for some new pictures of one of my favorite 2-year-olds! Emilie had just two requests...get shots of the amazing kitchen set she and her husband made from Ikea purchases, and some pictures at the zoo. How could I resist?!

Lily and Bella

I first photographed Lillian when she was about 4-months-old, and although I've photographed her since then, and have run into her and her mom several times since then, I couldn't believe how much she's changed! This was the first time I'd seen her walking, and I most certainly wasn't expecting to hear her talk as well!

Now Lillian, who will turn 2 in January, has little sister Isabella (Lillian calls her Bella) to keep her company, and I was so excited to go out to their new home in Upper Arlington for some updated pictures of the girls....and a couple attempts of the two of them with their gigantic labradoodle, Oscar. ;)
